At 17 feet long and ony 3019 pounds (1371 kg.), with a dry hitch weight of 405 pounds, this trailer is towable by many SUV, Crossovers and even some minivans (we started with this trailer on a 2007 Toyota Sienna mini van)  For reference, we tow this with a 2009 Toyota Highlander, which has a 5000 pound towing capacity.

Being a hybrid trailer means that you have the comfort of a hard sided trailer, with beds that fold out at front and back.   One queen at the front and a double at the back.    Additionally, the table area sets down for another short double and the couch folds down for a small single bed.     Comfortably, this trailer will sleep 2 adults and two children, with room for a medium to small dog.  (yes, you can bring your pets, as long as the campground allows them)

Additionally, there are some standard features and included items with this trailer:
  • 3 burner propane stove
  • small microwave
  • single basin kitchen sink
  • 3 way fridge / freezer
  • Air Conditioning
  • Fan
  • Furnace
  • Propane water heater
  • 3 piece bathroom (#1 only, please)
  • CD, USB, AM/FM stereo (with inside and outside speakers- Outside speakers are not currently working)
  • Plates, cutlery, glasses and cups, pots pans and some storage containers included
  • A small selection of card and board games for those rainy or cool days
  • Propane BBQ hookup at the side.
  • Extendable or stand up awning for the entry side of the trailer
  • Lawn chairs and folding tables for outside
Some additional items can also be rented along with this trailer, at a nominal additional cost per trip:
  • Weight Distribution hitch (in case you don't have one) - Highly recommended for smaller vehicles
  • Little Red Propane Fire Pit (great for those areas that have fire bans)  (please, no "roasting" over this unit)
  • Additional 8' x 8' awning for over your picnic table area.  Free standing, but can be tethered to the trailer awning for added stability.
  • An additional fold out 5 foot table for outside. Great for putting a cooler under and setting up your BBQ buffet.

With all of this, all you need to bring is your bedding, food and your clothes.

We'll even provide a brief explanation of any of the features that you'd like to know about, before you pull out for your weekend away.

** Roadside Assistance coverage is manditory when towing our trailer.   If you do not have AMA with RV coverage, then we will require that you take the extra roadside assistance coverage with the rental.   This protects both you, the renter, and us the owner, should anything happen while on your holiday.

My Trailer FAQs
First time setting up, following our check list should take about 60 minutes.
Yes. Add on mirrors can be purchased at Canadian Tire and most RV stores for between $50 - $150 per pair, depending on your type of vehicle
Yes. Depending on a number of factors, including hills, wind direction and speed, and the size of your vehicle, you can look at about double your normal fuel usage. Plan your pit stops by distance between gas stations.
Yes. This will be something that you can get installed at most RV and car dealerships when you get your trailer hitch package. Again, price will vary, based on your vehicle. Talk to the people putting on your hitch assembly and get as big as you can with Hitch assembly class and size, as well as trailer brake package and wiring options. You can always get connectors to pull smaller trailers in the future, but you cannot get connectors / adapters to pull larger trailers.
No, but it is recommended that you have either pulled a trailer before, or take some time when you pick up the trailer to practice backing up with a trailer. If you get to the campground and you're feeling nervous about backing into a spot, ask another trailer owner if they could give you a hand backing up. Most trailer people are pretty nice that way.
One would think that "common sense" would cover that, but here's the simple rules: 1) In the city, take your time. You need to take turns wider and you cannot accelerate or slow down as quickly as other cars. 2) On the highway, give yourself extra room from the vehicle in front of you. If you normally give a two second gap, give 4-5 seconds between you and the car in front of you. You're almost doubling the weight of your overall vehicle, so you're not going to stop as fast as other people. 3) Let people pass! (don't be "that guy") 4) Take your time on hills 5) When someone is helping you back up the trailer, if they can't see you in the mirror, you can't see them. Send your kids to the playground while you're backing in and setting up. The reduced stress will be worth it. 6) Level the trailer. Everything works better when it's leveled and set up correctly.
You'll have our number, so you can call or text us and we'll make sure to answer.
Because of wild animals around nearly every campground, bring your pet inside the trailer. We'd rather clean up a little extra pet hair, than hear about a tragic end to your trip.
You can leave your dog in the trailer while you're out. Turn on the air conditioning (not too high, though) and lock the door. Leave them some snacks and a full bowl of water.
Really, you can cook anything you want. Turn on the hood fan and enjoy the meal. Just be sure to be aware of any animal warnings in the area. Most campgrounds will post any warnings and will tell you of any serious concerns when you check in. In this case, you may want to avoid fish and pork, as those meats can be smelled quite a distance away and tend to be more likely to attract wildlife.
No. Smoking and vaping can be done OUTSIDE of the trailer only.
Yes. The night before or morning of pickup, we'll make sure the trailer is all plugged in and the fridge is cold. Once you're all hooked up, the fridge will run on 12v while you're on your way to your campground. Feel free to put your extra lawn chairs, beer and groceries in the trailer. The manual suggests that 500 lbs of cargo is available, but about 100 lbs of that is already used up by the extras that we're supplying with the trailer. Be reasonable. Most campgrounds are located near towns where you can buy additional groceries and 'beverages'.
When you book the trailer, we'll coordinate with you, to arrange to have the trailer delivered to your campground at a time that will work for you and for us. If you want an early weekday set up, we may need to arrange for an additional night at the campground, so that we can deliver the trailer the night before. Additionally, if you'd like us to do the set up & take down, that's a separate fee, so that our time is covered.
Yes. You'll need to do that before you leave the campground. We can walk you through the process and there will be some nitrile gloves in the trailer for this purpose. If you'd like us to do that, you'll have to cover the cleaning fee, which will cover our cost for dumping the tanks at a nearby campground. If you've paid for the setup and take down, this is covered in that fee.
Yes, there's a laminated reference document inside the door of the trailer. Again, if you have questions, you can call or text us and we'll make sure you're taken care of
There is no generator provided with this trailer and the battery is only meant to run lights and limited appliances, such as the furnace and fridge, for a short period of time. We STRONGLY recommend that you arrange to rent or borrow a generator if you're going to be at a campground where you do not have any power hookups.
Yes. HOWEVER, if you do not have your own RV coverage with AMA, then we will require that you take the additional coverage through Wheel Estate. This covers the trailer, should anything happen to your car, the trailer, or both. If you only have AMA coverage, but not the RV package, then a tow operator is under no obligation to ensure that the trailer is taken care of, and any towing of the trailer can cost over $1000 if you're not very close to a service station.
As we've had a couple people with trailer wiring connections that weren't working when we were getting them set up, there are a few things to check. 1) Hitch System - Is your hitch a Class 1 hitch, with 2" receiver? 2) Have you towed with the 7 wire connection on your vehicle and can confirm that it works? If not, we would recommend that you contact your vehicle dealer or a trailer sales / service location and see if you can go in and test your trailer wiring package. We will try our very best to accommodate your use of our trailer, but if your trailer package isn't operating, then we cannot let you tow the trailer and may have to cancel your trip. We will try to accommodate your needs, but if we're not available to drive to your campground and back, we may not be able to change the booking to add in the delivery / pick up charges.

Awesome trailer
we did a 16 days camping trip to the Oregon coast and this trailer was great for my family of 3. Very accommodating for pick up and drop off. It is a very easy trailer to set up. Comes with almost everything you need to set up at camp as well! Thank you Jeff & Marti!

Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for the review. We are glad our trailer helped make your trip enjoyable. I am curious why only 4 stars on the "value"? What could make it better?

Great little trailer!
We rented this trailer for almost 3 weeks in the spring, we were doing a long road trip so wanted something light and easy to pull...this trailer fit the bill. Clean, and easy set up, Jeff and Marti were great to deal with and very accommodating! It might start to seem a little on the small side for long trips, but the ease of pulling etc. makes up for that.

Great Little Trailer
Rented the trailer for 3-nights, the meet-up was great and we got everything quickly connected and oriented for our camping weekend. Everything worked well and we appreciated all of the extras that they had packed with the trailer, the little welcome treat basket was enjoyed as well. Towing with our SUV worked well and we had no issues, the sway bars that Jeff allowed us to use was appreciated. Drop ... more off was painless and Jeff met us at a convenient time and place again. I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be using their rental service again when needed.
